How smart are you?

You see many bloggers with posts showing the results of quizzes telling what kind of character, animal or personality they are. The answers are sometimes quite amusing and just maybe non revealing of the persons true knowledge or karma they possess.

The best test of just how much you know and how preceptive you are in applying logic is the Mensa Fun Test. It has 30 questions and to quote the site:

You have half an hour to answer 30 questions. Because of the speed of internet traffic and server response time, the actual time taken is not factored into the scoring. If you have metered access to the Internet, if this page is fully loaded into your web browser, you may disconnect from the Internet. Please reconnect to the Internet before pressing the “Submit Answers” button. Please time yourself and be honest.

Here is question #27.

27. How many four sided figures are in this diagram?

10 16 25 28

Even after I submitted my answers and saw the correct answer to #27 , I still don’t see all the 4 sided figures. Guess I can’t see the trees for the forest…….
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to do good , just take you time and apply some common sense.

About Mensa:

What kind of people are Members of Mensa?

There is simply no one prevailing characteristic of Mensa members other than high IQ. There are Mensans for whom Mensa provides a sense of family, and others for whom it is a casual social activity. There have been many marriages made in Mensa, but for many people, it is simply a stimulating opportunity for the mind. Most Mensans have a good sense of humor, and they like to talk. And, usually, they have a lot to say.

Mensans range in age from 4 to 94, but most are between 20 and 60. In education they range from preschoolers to high school dropouts to people with multiple doctorates. There are Mensans on welfare and Mensans who are millionaires. As far as occupations, the range is staggering. Mensa has professors and truck drivers, scientists and firefighters, computer programmers and farmers, artists, military people, musicians, laborers, police officers, glassblowers–the diverse list goes on and on. There are famous Mensans and prize-winning Mensans, but there are many whose names you wouldn’t know.
