Well then,is it better to have had a memory and lost it, or to not have ever had one at all? That is the question, as far as I can recall.

You might be older than dirt, or young and still dirt, but you yet might be “stronger than dirt”, after all. [Ajax, "the foaming cleanser". QED.]

I was 22 for 25. Older than dirt, indeed.

  5. Carol - December 29, 2005

I also got 100%-and we still have a huge stack of 78rpm records out in the garage. Of course that’s along with the Super8 movies too!

  6. Susie - December 29, 2005

Unfortunately, I got 100%. I still have all my 45’s and have no way to play them.

  7. beth - December 29, 2005

I think I had the same kind of record player that Retread had when I was a kid.
I think you should add Milk Man to the list – we had a milk man until the early ’70s – he walked right in the door and rotated our milk and cheese and butter in the fridge without needed assistance, we didn’t keep things locked up back then.

  8. Barb - December 29, 2005

    OMG – I got 22 of 25, that’s depressing.

  9. BillT - December 29, 2005

The Hudson. The Winky-Dink TV “colorizer.

I’m not only older than dirt, I’m closing in on igneous rock…

  10. Retread - December 29, 2005

45 rpm records made me remember a record player we had as kids. It looked like a piece of luggage, and played 33, 45 or 78 rpm records, some of which were school bus yellow.

  11. GUYK - December 29, 2005

Yeah and I could add a couple of more like a Hubert Tractor and a Nash Automobile

  12. Junebugg - December 29, 2005

Damn, I got 15 and it’s too late to not tell my age! I just posted a picture of my 50th birthday tattoo. Shit.

  13. Gut Rumbles - December 28, 2005

    definitely an old fart

No wonder I have so many aches and pains today. I’m older than dirt. I was 25 for 25 on…

Well, I didn’t do as good as Acidman (but then I’m not THAT old either) but I still am as old as dirt according tothis quiz, so I find it a bit hard to believe. The Packard my grandfather had as an antique in his garage to rebuild, and there were only a couple I didn’t remember myself having used at least once (as a wee little lad, of course).

  15. The Daily Snooze - December 29, 2005

Older Than Dirt, according to this QUIZ . Like Acidman, I got 25 out of 25. Although, I wasn’t too sure about skate keys until I remembered the skates I used the summer I lived with my Grandma in ‘55. So how did you do? Hmm?
