Austin Blown-Eyed Blodgers

I decided that I would make this blog get to gather, assembly, mutual admiration society, rendezvous, meetup in Austin.
Of course this means that I will have to shave and wear clean clothes while I am there, but it will be a small sacrifice on my part considering I will be amongst some “tall dogs” (quoting Acidman) of the blogworld.

It looks like there just may be around 30 bloggers along with any spouses in attendance so it should be very interesting. I went to a meetup in Houston last july and met Dwight and my blog inspiration Laurence, and both made me feel at home with a bunch of strangers.

Looking over the names of those who are planning on being there I see some that I have exchanged e-mails and it would be nice to finally meet them in person.

I see that some are coming from back east and I wonder if there will be a door prize for the longest distance traveled, I know I would get it for the oldest.

Side Note: If any of you guys (men) are on a tight budget, I would consider sharing a room contact me by the e-mail option on the right sidebar, of course at my age I have to say nothing below the waist will occur.

    If it is a copyright infringement it’s chou chopes that used that term for the Austin gig.
    I would never try to sneak anything past any Helen attendee, that would be almost like stealing someones “Red Badge of Courage”.
