signs and cards
I drove to Victoria last friday and saw this new sign posted along US 87.
After I finished my business and returned to Podunk, I stopped at Buc-Eee’s for a coke, and when I was returning to my vehicle a small group of people of spanish descent approached me and asked if I could help them.
Being a nice guy I asked what kinda help, and their translator replied “we need green cards to stay here“, I mulled the situation over a minute and then boldly said “I can get all of you green cards for $95.00 per card“. This brought a look of relief to all their faces and they said how soon can we get the cards to which I replied I have then in my vehicle and can get them now if paid.
The practically threw their money at me and so I went and got their 9 green cards, and then drove over to my bank to make a deposit of my windfall…
