there has been a lot of views expressed over the Raid on Utopia, aka “Yearning For Zion Ranch” a couple of months ago in Texas.
When you look at these photos of Warren Jeffs, leader of the FDLS, Photo, or this One or at this One , it sure looks like the truth stands out about men marrying teen agers.
This is not to say that the warrant issued to search the compound was correct or not, but how can any one defend this type of conduct as an expression of “Religious Freedom“, the women of the sect are just as guilty as any of the men and should be charged also.
some guys get 20 years for just having child porn on their pc,
Article:
State officials said the removals were necessary to end a cycle of sexual abuse at the ranch in which teenage girls were forced to marry and have sex with older men, but parents denied any abuse and said they were being persecuted for their religious beliefs.
Ok folks, tell me why this man should be elected President, all I need is a couple of very sound and well thought out reasons why he should get my vote…
I for the life of me cannot get excited about any of the people who are running for President today, no matter which party they are from…
I guess he doesn’t really look at the speeches his staff writes or he just doesn’t have his brain in gear when he opens his mouth to speak spontaneous…
I am thinking of moving to Mexico, I hear it’s cheaper to live there and there are a lot of vacant dwellings available…
On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.
These are my 6 uncles who were all in the service during WWII, this article is from my home town newspaper in Oct 1942. My dad who is not in this article must have been motivated by his younger brothers as he enlisted later at the age of 36, the youngest was Richard at 18 who is on the bottom left.
All returned home from the conflict but sad to say that they are no longer with us today.
Well it’s Memorial weekend and all across the country folks are firing up the BBQ and cooling the beer while watching the kids enjoy the long week end.
Your ability to have the freedom to enjoy the good things is because of this guy, so when you see one of his kind , mosey up and say “Thank You”…
It’s statements like this, made by ole Maxine a closet commie, that makes me wish I had been born in 1800 and was not subject to such bs by our so called politicians…
These are the same bunch of clowns who are suing OPEC over oil prices… when they should have done something back in 73 when the oil supply started getting out of control…

Should there be a test required of any candidate running for the Senate or the House just to see if they have a basic understanding of economics and can explain the Bill of Rights to prove they won’t try to pass a law that violates any of our Rights…
Of course we the public are just a guilty because we don’t push for any change in the status quo , as we all hate change of any kind in our lives…

Darin Opel, of Worden, has bow fished for 25 years, but this giant Asian carp is his biggest catch by far. Opel bagged the fish Sunday in a backwater on the Mississippi River near Alton.
Nobody will be getting the fish Opel caught Sunday — except maybe the Guinness Book of World Records.
Bow fishing for gar from the shore in backwater above the Melvin Price Lock and Dam No. 26 on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River near Alton, Opel shot a 92-pound, 8-ounce bighead carp with a compound bow and arrow.
After fighting the behemoth for 10 minutes, Opel jumped into the muddy water, bearhugged the beast and inched him to the shore.
