You probably didn’t notice but I no longer play the “Ecosystem” game with my blog…the Bear just doesn’t seem to be able to keep the system in good working order..today this site went from a large mammal to a worm in the eco rankings..I ain’t never crawled for nobody and don’t plan on starting now.
I just fell to the bottom of the barrel to the glorious ranking of a Multicellular Microorganism…
Of course the Bear uses Sitemeter for some of his data on number of visits and I don’t know or care where he gets the link data for ranking you in the Ecosystem…
I have started using Woopra for my blog stats… It is still in beta and they are slow in approving your application, but I got in early and it only took me a couple of days…
There are a couple of things I like about Woopra, one is they have a desktop application (which is shown on the main page) where you can see your stats and not have to go to their web site. The second thing that intrigues me is the ability to “Chat” with some one when they are on your site, I am going to have to find a volunteer to see if it’s easy or not worth the effort.
