Fathers Day

My dad and mom got divorced when I was just a kid, I only saw him 4 times after I became an adult…
When I visited him in 1960 we went salmon fishing on the Columbia river, and later elk hunting…
I did not know him very well but I always missed him…

My First School

This is where I started in 1944…
That seems like another time and place in time..
The 1st grade was located on the ground level on the right , 2nd grade was on the second floor…
No air conditioning, wood burning stoves for heat, we were tough kids in those days…
