Bow and Arrow Arrival
Well, I did get here even though my flight out of Houston was delayed for 2 hrs and 45 min because of the weather. The photo doesn’t show the rain blowing sideways across the windows. The storm had winds around 40 mph and the bad thing was all the luggage for the flight was not loaded and they left it sitting on the carts and needless to say my bag got soaked.
Here is the luggage carts empty of wet luggage….
Some parts of Houston didn’t get wet at all…
Waiting for my son-in-law to get the car for the ride north.
Over all the time spent in the air was with out any drama, just a smooth ride at 39,000 ft and looking down on the scattered clouds after we neared Oklahoma.

I’m actually commenting on your ’sayings’ but you might not go back there and find me! I’m new to Blogging so I’m a bit uncertain. I’m of a ‘certain vintage’ and I’m Australian. I belong to a group of ‘traveling players’ who perform at Nursing Homes and our M.C., Colin, loves to shoot one-liners at the audience. Can he use some of yours? You’ll find my Blog at ‘Rinkly Rimes’. Please let me know.
Yours,
Brenda Bryant
Count me as one of those spots….for three days in a row. I watched the rain actually GO AROUND the area I live in, rather than fall here.
sigh
Brenda,
go and use as many as you want as I found them on the net and they are not my originals…
No rain here as I told you yesterday. Thank you for the phone. I needed a little cheering up and hearing from you made my day!

While the meet was wonderful, you were truly missed. I think the first words out of my mouth were, “Where’s Jerry???”
Leslie, thanks for the nice comment…
